How do you pack/handle my furniture?

We use moving blankets – not boxes – to pack furniture, which provide better protection against potential damage. We also use stretch wrap, a non-adhesive plastic, for your cloth furniture like sofas and recliners to give them protection. Finally, we use a combination of blankets and stretch wrap on leather furniture. Curious what all this looks like? You can look at take a look at one of our packing videos.

Do you move automobiles?

Of course! It’s not always possible for families to move all of their cars as they move. If you need help transporting your car or truck, let us know.

Can I pick up boxes for my move?

Once you’ve booked your move, you are welcome to request gently used boxes, based on availability.

Can I pack my clothes in a chest or dresser drawers?

Lightweight clothing – sweaters, shirts, blouses, and undergarments – may be left in the drawers. However, do not fill drawers with heavy items such as books, which can damage the piece of furniture during transit. Also, do not to leave delicate items, money, jewelry, watches or other valuables in the drawers, as well as anything that might spill or leak. If your shipment is going into storage, all items must be removed from the drawers.
